Do we get a certificate?

Most celebrants provide a naming certificate. This is signed during the ceremony by the parents, supporting adults and the celebrant. Some also provide certificates for other siblings, the supporting adults, and grandparents.Unlike a birth certificate from the registry office, the naming certificate cannot be used as proof of identification.
