Inspiration & Expert Advice to Help You Create Your Own Wedding Ceremony!

Ideas for Your Bridal Dance

wedding danceWhen it comes to your bridal dance, once you have established the rhythm and mood of the dance, ask your bridal party to each ask someone they don’t know to dance. Have them introduce themselves to the person and invite them to the floor. Your MC can extend this by inviting guests to do the same once all of the bridal party are dancing.

Not everyone loves to dance however, many laughs can be had by including an interactive dance such as the chicken dance, the locomotion… or have different themes to a special mixed track for example: disco, rock, punk, bootscootin’, country.

We went to one wedding where they taught a traditional ‘barn dance’ and while there was a little  resistance in the ranks everyone did end up enjoying it, laughing and getting to meet new people.
