wedding music and dance ideas

Quotation MarkYou may choose to have professional musicians for your wedding ceremony in which case ensure you are confident with your choice. Try and listen to a demo recording or hear them live if you can. Many couples are choosing to have pre-recorded music and there are a few things to consider which I will cover below.

Whatever you decide make sure you choose music that is special for you both. You will have the opportunity to select music for the processional (the entrance), the interlude (signing of the certificates and register) and the processional (the close of the ceremony).

Think well around your choice and ensure that the lyrics are appropriate for the celebration. You want your music to be remembered for all the right reasons. Delegate the task of managing the music to a professional or someone who you know will be confident, capable and relaxed. Ask them to familiarise themselves with the music system beforehand as well as the tracks you wish to have played. Give clear directions as to when you want the music to be turned on and faded out - not just stopped! A list of the songs as well as the track numbers and order to be played must be given to the music coordinator. If you are using a CD player ensure you use original CD's as sometimes burnt copies will not work.

There are many wedding sites that list popular music choices and I have included two links here for you to check out.

I hope you enjoy your celebration with lots of laughter and fun!

Your book gave us an insight as to what the important aspects of a perfect ceremony are. Had I not read your book I don’t know whether I would have put so much thought into the most memorable part of our wedding.
