Wendy HaynesQuotation MarkI love my work and have been passionate about celebrancy since I was appointed in 1995.
It's been an inspiring and rewarding journey working side by side with many couples and families creating personal, unique and heartwarming ceremonies that have touched not only the couple but everyone present.
Whether your celebration is a wedding ceremony, name giving ceremony, funeral, birthday celebration, or any other of life's 'touchpoints', I can help you to make it unforgettable, exciting, relaxed and friendly and, most of all, fun and inspiring."Wendy Haynes Signature

Where has 11 months gone? It is hard to believe that we have been travelling for so long. Roger and I were just saying how we are now just about ready to begin travelling. We have adjusted to the change of lifestyle, sorted out living together in a small van, overcome a few challenges and ready to begin!

We have had a fabulous ten days in SW Wales in a beautiful cottage, Bronmore Cottage, in Newport. We spent our days walking along the coastal path, doing yoga at sunrise down near the harbour (despite the first heavy frost freezing our fingers), delicious dinner parties with our friends and enjoying the company of Jess, Julian and our two beautiful granddaughters, Isabel and Rosa for a long weekend. We enjoyed the simple pleasures of reading children's books, walking along the beach and collecting shells for their treasure chest I bought for them.

We now find ourselves in Lichfield on our way to drop off our little blue travelling van at the dealer we bought it from and head to Heathrow tomorrow to catch a plane to Delhi. From there we catch the overnight train north to Dharamasala, home of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Roger has four weeks of volunteer dentistry work lined up, and me? Well, not quite sure how I fit into the picture of this exchange... dentistry nurse, hugger of patients... all will be revealed. I have checked out the local volunteer centre and there are two centres, one for children and another for women, that both require volunteers so I am sure I will find my place.

Until then, lots of love to you all! Will be in touch soon.
